Rockworms is a music community made FOR you…BY you.
Rockworms
encourages both the discovery of new music through peer reviews,
blogging and news links, as well as the peer-to-peer community aspect
by allowing you, the reader to post directly to Rockworms. I KNOW, RIGHT?!?!?
This allows for you, the reader, and now WRITER, to enlighten and
encourage others to discover your favorite new or old artists. Really,
you can talk about the Bee Gees for all that we care. We just want you
to talk and share!
Using a simple interface, Rockworms
readers are encouraged to post videos, album reviews, concert recaps
and breaking news bulletins for the entire audience spectrum that is
“the internet.”
Rockworms
is not run by any individual artist or record label and does not
(openly) discriminate against any particular music interest. We are one
big Rockwormy
music family. While the editors may have their own personal and
specific musical tastes (as may be found to be evident in our own
writings), we want you to be free with talking about who you love/are
interested in.
However, we DO censor blatant advertising. For instance, a listing
of tour dates for a band is fine. That is “news”. It’s great. Thanks
for doing it. However, writing a post that says: “buy tickets to
_______ now!”, is what is referred to as a “call-to-action: and if we
were in non-profit radio, you’d be fired. Luckily, no one gets paid
around here and your post will simply be deleted and your future
posting ability may be limited. Don’t waste your time.
