Our friends at Palooza Inc, have announced the lineup for their upcoming lolla event – which they have creatively dubbed “lollapalooza 2009.” The event is August 7th-9th, in Grant Park (Chicago).
Some bands that don’t suck include: Andrew Bird, Animal Collective, Kings of Leon, and Ben Folds.
Some bands that do suck include most of the ones in really small font (basically everything underneath Gaslight Anthem). We just hope Snoop Dog isn’t pissed lollapallooza for using a larger font for Beastie Boys than they did for him.

Not too bad this year. Last year was better, and Bonnaroo’s lineup last year was great too. I’m waiting to hear their list.
Bands i may would like to see on this list: Tool, The Killers (if they don’t play their crappy new album), Beastie Boys, The Decemberists, ARCTIC MONKEYS(!), Cohhed and Cambria, Atmosphere and Manchester Orchestra.
