I was up way too late watching VH1 Classic last night and they started showing the Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band: Live in New York concert. And I watched it.
They closed with this. I may have been tired, really full of baked ziti or still trying to find peace with the out-of-left-field ending on Law & Order: SVU, but I was moved very emotionally. Even when the terrifying saxophones unpursed his lips to melodically croon, I was not swayed from my emotional heights. Kinda sad they didn’t incorporate Max Weinberg into the singing circle, but they probably knew something about his singing chops that I do not.
Anyway, a great performance of a great song deserved placement on this GREAT BLOG!!!

This IS a great blog. Really enjoying the vids. Particularly Van Halen and Springsteen stuff. Have had a change in musical tastes in recent times and am much more interested in new indie music and folk rock stuff, but love a walk down memory lane as well. Some new stuff Ive been listening to is Sufjan Stevens and a new Australian Band called Circle who I loved live. Thanks for your blog its a visual feast and Im really enjoying the music youre sharing.
