I am not a huge 50 Cent fan. I feel that he has seemed to have strayed quite far away from his initial rep as a street-savvy, gun-toting thug in recent years and has now solidified himself as a family-friendly teen-beat rapper. But being a middle-class white kid from Seattle, I have a hard time really saying anything to him because no matter how un-thug he gets, he will still be 99% more thuggish than I ever would want to be.
Thankfully, the internet lends itself to those who opt not to consider their own personal surroundings and upbringings and instead deem themselves capable of harping on others for lacking, as the below video notes, “street cred”. In the short clip attached below, a young, gap-toothed Canadian kid who has apparently felt betrayed by the recent actions of one Mr. Cent and vocalized these feelings for the world to see. It is really quite humorous.
